Rhino's giving it their best shot, undoubtedly. (And yes, that Radioactive UK needle-drop-CD of Aldebaran truly is appalling - my old cassette dub of the LP has better sound quality, fer cryin' out loud.) Whoever controls Aldebaran is not very liberal with licensing. They may be asking a lot of money for those tracks, and Rhino has to weigh the price of the set vs. the number of copies they can sell vs. the cost of licensing the rest of the tracks, photos, etc. The reissue game is very expensive, especially for collections like this. And from what I can gather, the UK CD of Aldebaran came out through some licensing loophole and isn't even taken from the master tape... it's from an LP! Hopefully the success of Big Judy will pave the way for a full reissue of Aldebaran. Robin,
