Craig Doerge CD Going for Big Bucks
You don’t have to pay $100 for a copy of Craig Doerge’s solo CD on eBay. They are available for $13.95 on Judy’s website.
I don’t see anything special about the eBay copy, but I suppose there’s a chance that it’s a rare copy that a collector would want. If you just want the music, buy it from the source.
Musically, this is a really nice album. Craig is accompanied by the usual cast of top-tier studio musicians. If you need another reason that it deserves a place in your collection, how about lyrics by Judy Henske? You get a great version of “Reno,” Craig’s rendition of “Yellow Beach Umbrella” (made famous by Bette Midler) and the classic “Dogs Are The Only Real Christians” (I’d love to hear Judy’s take on that song). Rating: Two paws up!
Not sure where else to post this or ask about it, but… is it true that ‘Farewell Aldebaran’ is getting a CD release in November? It’s begun to appear on the New Releases lists on various sites (Other Music, etc)… anyone know any details? Is it a bootleggy item, or a legit, nicely remastered affair, or what?
